This past Friday I attended CreativeMornings featuring Christoph Niemann, an artist that I have obsessed over for the past few months. (why?) The speech was interesting, but the real treat was the accompanying illustrations with witty comments that gave more insight to his creative process. Christoph spoke (with a slight accent) for about twenty minutes. Twenty delightful minutes. It was like reading an extended Abstract Sunday blog post, and the crowd of around 300 could not stop laughing. (If you haven’t yet read abstract sunday- DO IT. NOW. I promise you won’t regret it.)
The event was held in the Galapagos Art Space in Dumbo Brooklyn. Since it was a gorgeous day and I didn’t have to be @ work, I decided to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge on my way back to Manhattan. Snapped some random shots with my not-so-smart phone. (been thinking about getting an iPhone or Droid- but do I really need it??).
ps. I LOVE NEW YORK!!!
