Jerome Robbins, West Side Story

| November 12, 2011

I’m a huge fan of old musicals, and one of my favorites- West Side Story is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary. DanceOn organized a flash mob in Times Square with 50 dancers performing the amazing choreography of Jerome Robbins.

I’ve seen West Side Story too many times to count, not to mention the Broadway show and the ballet version that NYC Ballet performs every year. Any ballet by Jerome Robbins is worth seeing over and over- Fancy Free, Interplay, Opus Jazz, and my favorite, The Concert. If you’re a student, you can get rush tickets for $15. The NYC Ballet season starts in January- who wants to join me??
