Music Artistry

| October 23, 2013

Isn’t it fantastic when two things you love come together to form something even more epic? That’s how I feel when I see music videos that push the creative envelope.

Shugo Tokumaru – “Katachi”

I have no clue what this song is about (even though the lyrics have been translated here), but it has some of the coolest visuals I have ever seen.

CDZA – The Human Jukebox
If only all street performances were this entertaining! CDZA is a group of crazy talented musicians who create “musical video experiments”. They make music fun to watch.

A Cappella Disney Medley by Peter Hollens & Alex G
Who doesn’t love a great Disney mashup? Peter Hollens constantly churns out fantastic a cappella covers, and this one is no exception.

Sara Bareilles – Manhattan (Live at the Variety Playhouse)
I absolutely love Sara Bareilles’s music, and her live performances are always so spot on. The pure emotion in her voice really sells it.

Wow, thanks for sharing these videos!!

First one was amazing! Reminds me of this:

Second one, was wow… What talent….

Third one I already knew and absolutely love!!

I love Sara Bareilles but not a fan of this one… Her live performances are always amazing and it’s incredible to listen to someone whose studio versions are barely different from live perfomances..

Thanks for sharing, as always!

Loved the video, especially the end- thanks! I have so much respect for stop motion animation, ever since I took an After Effects class. 2 seconds of a clip can take days to create.
